2011年11月11日から開催されている個展をもう一つご紹介。
オーストラリアのメルボルンを拠点にしているイラストレーター、エヴェリン・タルナジャヤ (Eveline Tarunadjaja) の個展 "Threads" がメルボルンのギャラリー NO VACANCY GALLERY 開催で開催されている。

About the show:
Brushing away the little white speckles of Dandruff from last year’s show at No Vacancy, Eveline Tarunadjaja’s upcoming exhibition entitled “Threads” presents a new body of work based on the characters from a self written story. Toying with the nature of the human psyche, innocence and child’s play, Eveline’s characteristically delicate and detailed illustrations are woven together with strands of a dark yet mischievous style of storytelling.

Eveline Tarunadjaja Exhibition Information - Split Ends - @ Thinkspace Gallery

現在ロサンゼルス・カウンティ (Los Angeles County) のカルバーシティ (Culver City) にあるギャラリー、Thinkspace Gallery でオーストラリアのイラストレーター、エヴェリン・タルナジャヤ (Eveline Tarunadjaja) の個展 "Split Ends" が開催されているので紹介しておこう。
2011年4月9日からスタートし、4月23日まで開催されている。

"Split Ends" というタイトルから、Split Enz というニュージーランドの懐かしいバンドのことを思い出した。

メルボルン在住のイラストレーター、エヴェリン・タルナジャヤ (Eveline Tarunadjaja) からもグループ展の案内が届いていた。
"Fashion Illustration: Visual Poetry" というタイトルのグループ展で、ニューヨークのギャラリーgallery hanahouで2011年1月20日から2011年2月25日間まで開催。

Curated by renowned artist, fashion illustrator, and educator Bil Donovan, "Fashion Illustration: Visual Poetry" brings together 13 of the most talented and innovative artists working in fashion illustration today for an exhibition that showcases the possibilities of the genre to complement, respond to, and sometimes transcend fashion.

The pieces in the exhibition represent artists from a number of different countries and a broad spectrum of styles. Taken together, their client lists cover every perspective of fashion, from small labels to large retailers and all manner of media.

A must-see show for fashion students and those working in media, "Fashion Illustration" is an eye-opening experience for anyone who loves fashion and the visual arts.

Eveline Tarunadjaja Information - LOVEXEVOL CALENDAR 2011 -

メルボルンで活動しているイラストレーター、エヴェリン・タルナジャヤ (Eveline Tarunadjaja) から2011年版のカレンダーを出したよというメールが届いていたので紹介しておこう。

卓上カレンダーと壁掛けカレンダーがそれぞれ25ドルだという。
また、ギフトタグのセットが5ドルとなっている。

リリー・ピリ (Lilly Piri) の LiveJournal を久しぶりに訪れたら、Eveline Tarunadjaja なる人物の2007年カレンダーを紹介していたので、早 速、その Eveline Tarunadjaja の情報を集めてみた。

非常に日本的なイラストを描く人で、髪の線を執拗に描き、そこが好ましい。
夜舟の描く少女をなんとなく思い出した(日本人の作品はそのうちまとめてポストしようと思って、ずっと放ったらかしたまんまだ。なんとかしよう、そのうちに)。
