上田 風子 (Fuco Ueda)
1979年横浜生まれの栃木県育ち。
先月上田風子が参加した国内でのグループ展をご紹介したが、現在 NY において開催されているグループ展にも参加しているとのことなのでご紹介しよう。
NY のアイオナ大学内にある gallery で開催されているグループ展で、上田風子 (Fuco Ueda) 以外には、Ron English、Lori Earley、David Stoupakis、Edwin Ushiro らが参加している。
DEEP POP
NYC curator and art dealer Andrew Michael Ford brings together a variety of artists who create fine art inspired by the world of pop imagery.

NY 近郊にお住まいの方、お散歩がてらのぞいてみて下さい。
そういえばどこかの gallery のサイトでも、初夏くらいに上田風子の個展を開くっていうアナウンスを見かけたな。
急がしそうで何よりだ。
しかしこう海外での展示会が多いと、搬入/搬出の手続きとかが大変なんじゃないだろうか。
まあ、こういう機会が増えてくるとさすがにエージェントに任せたりしてはいるのだろうが。
