More! Snap, Crackle, Pop
"Why collaborate?" Because it pushes us to our limits and also takes us into new and unknown places. This is what makes the process fun. "You never know what the piece will end up looking like", says Jeff Schaller.
Serpentine Gallery is proud to host an exciting exhibit which will feature NEW collaborative art.

The Poetry of Craftsmanship
For the first time, West Chester University will host an unusual exhibition that brings together four regional artists who work in paint, paper, clay, wax and wood. All based in Chester County - painters Adrian Martinez and Jeff Schaller, ceramic artist Rhoda Kahler, and furniture maker Jamie Paxson - represent a recent watershed in the way American art is defined today. Although they all work in different mediums, they are united in their awe-inspiring craftsmanship and their respect for the historic techniques and artistic traditions of the past.
